The O2, North Greenwich and Tower Bridge

2018

And hold me fast, hold me fast 'cause I'm a hopeless wanderer. I will learn, I will learn to love the skies I'm under.”

In my first year living in London, I wanted to visit as many new places as possible and of course, take my camera with me to capture the beautiful surroundings. Although I’ve been to London countless times before moving here, I was always here as a visitor and had to rush to get the train home or to beat the rush hour traffic. Now I am able to experience all of these places without having to worry about my time here running out.

I visited North Greenwich late one afternoon in October as the light was starting to fade and the winter sun was lowering. As a music fan, I’ve always loved going to the O2 having also been there back in the day when it was still the Millennium Dome and before it became one of the busiest music venues in the world. I spent a few hours there, wandering along the river and capturing the nearby area.

I then raced back to Tower Bridge just in time for sunset and, although it wasn’t the best and most colourful of all time, the timing was perfect and the light gave me some really nice shots.
